Locks your webbing
The new COBRA® PRO STYLE SNAKEBITE safety buckle is made of premium aluminum alloy and features our proven COBRA® PRO STYLE locking mechanism. It comes with an additional clamp that locks the adjustable belt strap in the desired position and prevents possible "creeping" of the webbing. It is currently available for belt straps 33 to 58 mm wide with standard webbing thicknesses.
Thanks to its patented locking mechanism and high breaking strength, the COBRA® PRO STYLE SNAKEBITE meets the highest safety requirements. In combination with the right size belt strap, the minimum guaranteed load capacity is 9 kN tensile strength and 18 kN in loop configuration.

The COBRA® PRO STYLE SNAKEBITE is equipped with a serrated clamp (pic. 1). When folded down, the clamp and its teeth lock the webbing and prevent the strap from loosening, even under movement (pic. 2). Once the buckle and clamp are engaged, you can still pull the strap tighter, making the belt system extremely comfortable and safe.
