Some AUSTRIALPIN UNIVERSAL snap gate carabiners were mistakenly marked with EN362-B. Only carabi-ners with locking mechanism according to EN362-B can be certified (screw lock, autolock etc.). That‘s why AUSTRIALPIN decided to recall the abovementioned UNIVERSAL snap gate carabiners. 
This recall concerns UNIVERSAL snap gate carabiners with the article number KZ01A and KZ01B only, not the screw lock carabiners! The snap gate carabiners only have a wrong marking! There are no safety constraints, the carabiners withstand the tested forces! 

In case your UNIVERSAL snap gate carabiner has the above-shown, yellow-framed EN362-B marking, we will replace this carabiner for another one. However, an exachange for the same UNIVERSAL snap gate carabiner is not possible, as this product is no longer in production.

PROCEDURE:

•    Fill out the return form with your desired carabiner on the last page and send it to us together with the recalled UNIVERSAL snap gate carabiner.
•    Please bear the postage costs, in return you will receive the desired carabiner you ticked on the return form twice.
•    After we received your package, we will send you the new carabiners as fast as possible to your given address.
