Daniel Felsner

My name is Daniel and I grew up in Styria. I've been living in Innsbruck for almost six years now - a region that I've come to appreciate and love very much over the years. I got into climbing at the age of ten. Shortly afterwards, I also took part in competitions, but I soon realized that I was far more fascinated by the experiences away from the competition. So my interest grew steadily - from outdoor climbing, bouldering and skiing to alpinism. Today I have arrived where I feel most comfortable: out and about, in the middle of rock, ice and snow - where I can realize my projects and find my greatest joy. 

My disciplines: sport climbing, bouldering, skiing and alpine climbing 

The terrain where I feel most comfortable: The more powerful the better! 

Favorite places: I've been able to get to know some beautiful places in the Alps - but I still feel most at home in my home mountains.  

What drives me: Collecting experiences to write stories.
