DYNA.MIT cord with dyneema core

170 cm long, black cord in a robust core-sheath construction with a high breaking strength of 22 kN (single strand). Combines the advantages of a classic cord with those of a sewn sling, making it ideal for belay stations and versatile applications in alpine terrain.

The cord can be used open, e.g. for building a pulley system, or knotted behind the sewn ends. When knotted, it effectively forms a 60 cm sling and can be used as such, for example, comfortably carried over the shoulder.

The 5 cm sewn ends are more rigid than loose cord ends, making them particularly easy to guide through small openings and around tight curves. At the same time, they prevent sheath slippage and, when used as a sling, prevent the knot from slipping over the end of the cord.

The DYNA.MIT cord combines the flexibility of a cord with the practical handling of a sling. The core-sheath construction absorbs very little moisture and remains easy to handle in changing weather conditions.
