FERR.DA snapgate

The strong FERR.DA stainless steel carabiner is a reliable connector on the vertical. Its asymmetrical D-shape offers plenty of space and easy handling in demanding situations.

The version with gate and split is used where fast rope clipping is required. It is therefore frequently used as a top anchor carabiner for outdoor climbing routes.

With a considerable breaking load of 33 kN, the carabiner guarantees maximum stability and safety. The round cross-section ensures gentle rope guidance and reduces abrasion even under dynamic loads.

The split pin is installed on site to lock the carabiner to the anchor. This prevents theft and keeps the carabiner from twisting. This maximizes carabiner breaking strength because the force is always applied along the main axis. The split pin itself is not designed to take loads.
