However, it wasn’t until AUSTRIALPIN was founded that the opportunity arose to truly bring it to life – moving beyond sketches and into development, testing, and production.

The idea we’re talking about is the first COBRA^® QUICK RELEASE buckle – an innovation that hit the market just two years after the company was founded and set new standards from the very beginning. What began as a technical solution quickly evolved into something bigger. The combination of mechanical strength and safety proved itself – not through promises, but in real-world use. The first patent laid the foundation for a principle that has hardly changed to this day.

Many details have been refined, improved, and adapted over the years.
