florian is a mountain guide and one of the best climbers on rock and in ice. in his iceclimbing-courses he already managed to infect many people with the ice virus. especially in the tiroler oberland, with its many icefalls in valleys like the kaunertal, he has done a lot of first ascents.

he loves everything that's alpine, weather in ice or on rock, and therefore names himself a "true all-round alpinist". florian climbed most of the classical extreme routes in the east and west alps, counts around 50 first ascents of difficult ice and mixedroutes and did a couple of solos, like "zwirn", "das problem" and "amore fragile" in hochfinzermünz and the classical route at the renkhut.
