for more than 30 years Beat has played an important role in the international climbing scene. with plenty of first ascents in the 10th and 11th grade and solos, like mordillo, 10- he has been calling attention many times. in march 2009 after 9 months of physical and mental preparation he set another milestone with climbing the "prinzip hoffnung" 10/10+ at "bürser platte" clean.
