matthias is a carpenter and a certified ski- and mountain guide. due to his job he found out about his passion for taking pictures of landscapes. trough his pictures matthias shows his love of nature in general and the mountains in particular, which you can see in the tirol-calendars of 2009 and 2010.

matthias is climbing since 25 years.16 years ago he started developing new routes around his home valley, the oetztal. in the meantime he counts about 140 first ascents, ranging from sportsclimbing to many multi-pitch routes in from 4+ till 8a+.
