harry is an original "pongauer", a district in salzburg. he was born in, grew up in, and still lives around schwarzach were he started to work as a carpenter. at the age of 14 harry went ice-climbing for the first time and was instantly fascinated by it.

in 2001 he became austria´s youngest mountain guide and 2005's and 2007's austrian iceclimbing champion. during the last 3 years he was focusing on one big filmproject named "the supervisor", which is about a 300m long icefall harry was soloing. finished successfully, the film can be seen in cinemas already.

if harry ist not filming or climbing, he is successfully managing his company „bergersteigen“.
